Community Risk Reduction
In an effort to better server our community, we have implemented a Self-Inspection Program. This program is designed for general businesses that have a "low-hazard" potentioal for fire and life safety concerns as defined by the International Fire Code (IFC).
Blair Township Emergency Services conducts annual fire inspections of businesses within the Township. The Self-inspection program consists of a check list of the most common violations of State and Local Fire Codes. The inspections should be conducted annually.
Having a yearly inspection, whether you or the fire inspector conducts the inspection, helps you maintain a fire safe work place and helps us keep our records updated regaring your business.
