Upcoming Meetings

The Planning Commission has both advisory and administrative responsibilities.  It advises the Board of Trustees on Zoning Ordinance text and map amendments, assists in ordinance administration, reviews and approves proposed site plans, and advises the Board of Trustees on special land uses and planned unit developments.  It also prepares and adopts the Township’s Master Plan.  The Planning Commission also acts as the Township’s Capital Improvements Committee, and prepares the 5-year Capital Improvements Plan.  Planning Commission meetings are held at 6:00 PM on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at the Township Hall.

                                       Planning Commission Members

  

Members of the Planning Commission must be at least 18 years of age, a Blair Township resident, and a voter registered in Blair Township.

 

Planning Commission meets the third Wednesday of the month at 6:00 pm (usually 12 meetings per year), and hold quarterly meetings with the Township Board and ZBA (4 additional).  Special meetings are held when necessary.  The Planning Commission prepares an annual Capital Improvement Plan, develops and recommends the Township’s Master Plan, recommends amendments to the Zoning Ordinance and reviews site plans for special land uses and planned unit developments.  Per diem of

$90.00 per meeting paid.
