NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR 2019/2020

The Blair Township Board will hold a public hearing during their regular meeting May 14, 2019 at 6:00 pm at the Blair Township Hall, 2121 County Road 633, Grawn, MI 49637.

The property tax millage rate proposed to be levied to support the proposed budget will be a subject of this hearing.

A copy of the budget is available for public inspection at the Blair Township Clerk’s Office, 2121 County Road 633, Grawn, MI 49637 during regular business hours.

This notice is given in compliance with PA267 of 1976 as amended (Open Meetings Act), MCLA41-72a (2)(3) and the American with Disabilities Act (ADA).

The daily work of the Public Works Department is divided between the water operations and sewer operations. The Water Coordinator and the Wade Trim Operators all have the ability to handle the responsibility for the entire water and sewer system if the need arose. This demands that all personnel be well trained. Some of their duties are to rebuild and maintain machinery and motors, repair and modify electrical circuits and controls, inspect water and sewer main construction, water meter installation and repair, water and wastewater lab analysis, and maintain buildings and grounds.
