NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR 2019/2020

The Blair Township Board will hold a public hearing during their regular meeting May 14, 2019 at 6:00 pm at the Blair Township Hall, 2121 County Road 633, Grawn, MI 49637.

The property tax millage rate proposed to be levied to support the proposed budget will be a subject of this hearing.

A copy of the budget is available for public inspection at the Blair Township Clerk’s Office, 2121 County Road 633, Grawn, MI 49637 during regular business hours.

This notice is given in compliance with PA267 of 1976 as amended (Open Meetings Act), MCLA41-72a (2)(3) and the American with Disabilities Act (ADA).

Blair Township's Emergency Medical Service provides 24/7 Advanced Life Support to the Township as well as Paramedic-Intercepts and mutual-aid to the surrounding areas. Blair EMS responds to over 1700 calls per year. We currently maintain a Fire/EMS staff of 12 full-time members supplemented by part-time employees and on-call volunteers. Blair EMS also provides Medical Stand-by and First Aid Services for the Northwest Michigan Fair, The Buckley Old Engine Show, and various other community events.
