NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR 2019/2020

The Blair Township Board will hold a public hearing during their regular meeting May 14, 2019 at 6:00 pm at the Blair Township Hall, 2121 County Road 633, Grawn, MI 49637.

The property tax millage rate proposed to be levied to support the proposed budget will be a subject of this hearing.

A copy of the budget is available for public inspection at the Blair Township Clerk’s Office, 2121 County Road 633, Grawn, MI 49637 during regular business hours.

This notice is given in compliance with PA267 of 1976 as amended (Open Meetings Act), MCLA41-72a (2)(3) and the American with Disabilities Act (ADA).

If you are planning to attend this public meeting and require reasonable, special assistance, please contact Lynette L. Wolfgang, Township Clerk at (231)276-9263, at least two business days prior to the scheduled meeting date. A copy of this notice is on file at the Office of the Township Clerk.

All land divisions are governed by the Michigan Land Division Act, Act 288 of 1967, and the Township's Zoning and Subdivision Ordinances.

Blair Township recommends that PRIOR to applying to any Grand Traverse County offices for approval, and PRIOR to hiring a surveyor to survey a proposed land division, that you contact the Township Zoning Administrator 231-276-9263 ext 105 or zoning@blairtownship.org to review the proposed land division(s) or property transfer(s).

At this review the number of land divisions that are available to a parcel will be determined and a preliminary review of the proposed land division(s) will be made to determine if the proposal could meet the Township Zoning and Land Division Ordinance requirements.
